🚛 THE ROADWORK EPIDEMIC
As a long-haul truck driver traveling across America, I’ve witnessed firsthand how ridiculous road construction can get.
🚧 Roads that desperately need repairs get ignored!
🚧 Perfectly good highways get torn apart!
🚧 Construction projects drag on for months or YEARS!
🚧 Endless lane closures create massive traffic jams!
🚧 Speed limits sometimes get LOWERED after highway improvements!
Here’s what really makes me angry…
Imagine driving on a highway with two lanes in each direction and a 70 MPH speed limit.
They widen it to THREE lanes in each direction, supposedly making it safer and improving traffic flow.
Then, after all that construction, the speed limit drops to 60 MPH!
HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! 🤯
I’m not against necessary road maintenance. I’m against construction projects that seem to never end, questionable highway decisions, and the traffic headaches they create for millions of Americans!
