In this powerful speech, Brené Brown breaks down 5 behaviors that you should never accept from anyone — including the people closest to you. Setting boundaries isn't selfish, it's necessary for your mental health, self-respect, and relationships.
In this video, you'll learn:
✅ Why tolerating disrespect erodes your self-worth over time
✅ How to recognize manipulation and gaslighting disguised as "love"
✅ Why boundaries with family are often the hardest — and most important
✅ The difference between forgiveness and accepting repeated harm
✅ How to reclaim your peace by saying "no more"

Sometimes, Life teaches you to ask for very little because you are not special enough. So we ask for very little, shrinking ourselves so as not to be 'demanding'. But asking for very little often means we get even less.

Often, for me, my biggest challenge is how do i honor me when the people i love (esp. My family...adult children and grand kids) will not understand, will feel hurt...when i can't see how to say enough, without saying too much about things they shouldn't have to hear. Bc of course, who really wants if you are an empath, to hurt others. Yet i have always spoken truth when I felt silence would be more harmful. And for many, truth is intolerable, even if attempts are made to deliver it with love and compassion.
