A beautiful new version I can cry to as I never forget the memory of listening, and weeping, to the original version before my marriage ultimately ended. I know I am forgiven, but the pain never ceases. Even after true repentance; sin is real, sin is devastating.😓

The only way we'll last forever is to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved, in Christ alone, by faith alone, the blood of Jesus, the cross, in repentance. Being broken together will not make us last forever, to believe this will land us in hell.

I don't know what's wrong with me I feel like a masochist because I can't stop listening to this song and it's just reminds me of my failed marriage. And it's frighteningly prophetic how I used to describe our marriage people as we were both broken up just be perfect together not realizing how prophetic that actually was which which is ultimately the reason why my marriage failed was the Brokenness that could not be resolved. But I think what is for now is to help somebody out that I just met and I'm going to send him this and maybe it'll give him some hope because there is a slight glimmer of hope that his marriage will reconcile.
