Have you ever felt so upset that you wanted to react right away? Here's the good news: God helps us make wise choices, even when it's hard!
In this episode, we look at 1 Samuel 24:1-11 and the story of David sparing Saul to learn about the final fruit of the Spirit: self-control. David had every reason to attack Saul in the cave, but instead he controlled his emotions and chose wisdom. Our feelings can push us to act quickly, say hurtful things, or make unwise choices.
This story shows us that self-control means choosing what is right instead of simply following our feelings. We can show God to others when we show self-control!
