I surrendered myself to Jesus when I finally realized that His plan is greater than what I was worrying so much about. I’m in my 3rd year of college and I can tell you that when you constantly worry about the future, it will discourage you and stress you out. After giving it to God, most of my stress went away and I started to take it day by day. I am where I am supposed to be according to God’s plan.
It’s so good to be reminded sometimes. Thank you for this, Ally ❤️

A year later this pops up on my home page and I just knew I needed to watch it. I am currently struggling to surrender, especially with everything going on in this crazy world, but I really needed this video, thank you God and thank you Ally. May we ALL be still and surrender everything and KNOW that He is God. Lord give us peace. Lord forgive me/us for not trusting you, please help us surrender and trust you with humility. Thank you Jesus. Amen! God bless ❤️

It took me like a half hour to understand where this episode was going, but then for the last 20 mins it felt like you were narrating my life. For years I was trying to scrape and claw my way towards joy, but I kept failing. I was constantly asking "what am I missing?" and "I'm doing everything everyone else is doing, so why am i going through such a dark time?" and then eventually after going to church camp and getting closer to jesus, i decided to let go of it. I told God, "you know what? I have no idea how this is gonna go, but as long as im with you and i hold on to you and this joy, i know that i'm gonna be ok. I know i'll find joy with just you alone" and i honestly didn't expect anything grand to happen, i just decided that i would let God handle whatever happened. A week later, when I started school again, it went better than i could've possibly imagined. It brought me so close to God because i know it was his doing, and I can't believe it actually went that well. I realize now why it took so long. Your podcast is really helping me grow closer to God. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Ally.

Wow this episode really spoke to me. Weird , I asked God to have you mention something about a bat if it was a word for me, I'm not even joking!
Surrender is so so hard to do but I feel like it frees us and that's what the Lord wants for us, sometimes we make things so much harder for ourselves holding on so tight <3

Something I do to help me surrender to God is practice gratitude! This has helped me to be still and be grateful for where I’m at and all God has provided for me right now. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:18 Hope this helps anyone that might need this 💗🌟 (even though I’m commenting a year after this episode was posted lol)

Thank you so much for this episode! ❤️ No one has ever explained so clearly to me what true surrender in faith in God really means. It brought me a lot of peace and hope at this point in my life, when I was trying to control too much. Now I truly feel that I can hand over the reins to Christ.
