What stood out to me is that,Jesus was a guest (invited) meaning, you have to (invite) him into your life. He provided the best (sweetest ) wine . Meaning, he took the position of the (host ) because the (host) is supposed to provide food and drinks. So if Jesus comes into your life, he becomes your host and brings out the best (sweetness) in you. And all they needed to do was fill the containers (fill yourself with the word). Whatever he asks you to do just do it. Meditation and studying the word . I stand for correction pls. We are all learning .❤

The way you went into detail about each verse/section made it so easy to understand and comprehend each verse on its own. May the Lord bless you for the way you help people to understand the Bible in more depth. <3

Also in verse 5 Mary says "Do whatever he tells you" demonstrating her faith in him and God, the same as the obedience in the servants 😁

The jars are "ceremonial jars" not just anything. It's significant. Then think about what that represents and then think of what the wine represents. It represents his blood, His blood does what to sin? Then it was 6 jars, the number 6 represents sin. Then the wine was "good wine". What happens to grape juice after sitting for a long period of time? It becomes fermented and doesn't taste so good. Well, Jesus provided pure fresh grape juice.
Again, what happens next, He goes to the temple and cleansed the temple. What do our bodies represent? Our bodies are intended to be a temple for God to dwell within us. So, again, He demonstrates a cleansing of sin. The people were committing sin against God. Then He refers to His body as the temple and His death and resurrection. It is His blood that cleanses us from sin. We cannot be freed from sin without His blood, without His death.

Hopefully you still read this. Please do more books. Take it from an old woman. Your gentleness shows. Jesus never said we would have an easy life, and we all have very hard lives and times. Families, friends, health, outside world. You’re a seed and a light source and a blessing.

Hii there new bible reader here I love your videos and I hope you keep going something that stuck out to me in chapter 2 was that Jesus was a grown man he didn't have to listen to Mary because like he said his time had not come yet. Even though he could have just ignored his mother's words he followed it just like the commandments say to honor your father and mother so even Jesus obeys them. That is what kinda just stuck out to me in this chapter

I’ve been a Christian my whole life, but I’ve always struggled with reading the Bible. I was saved on July Fourth last year and I knew I had to read my Bible. I went through months of spiritual warfare and I am finally picking my relationship with God back up. Thank you!

Definelty loved todays reading my takeaway had to be the last part of the reading where it said something like,
    “He knew their hearts”
That spoke volumes cause God knowing every detail of us:
our disloyalty, anger, pride, distrust, sin in general. He still risked his life for us knowing the high chance of people that would not accept him still, yet he still till this day loves them. love it!!

Thank you so much for this video Angela! 🌸

His disciples believed in Him: Of course they believed before, but now their belief was deepened and re-expressed. This is typical in our Christian lives. God does something great in our lives, and we believe in Him all over again.😊

What I found really interesting is the reflection of this miracle at the wedding in Cana, on what Jesus ultimately accomplished. Think for a moment about the Jars and their purpose and what the wine might represent... The jars were used for ceremonial washing, the kind that were used for Jewish purification... This highlights the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant with the wine, representing the future blood of Jesus being spilt... Now go a layer deeper... the Jars are no longer required for purification under the New Covenant, as Jesus's sacrifice is more than sufficient to constantly make us new and sanctified... So he transforms their use and makes them vessels for a blessing, one that is reflective of God's abundant grace. How amazing is our GOD! I love finding nuggets like this, the bible is full of them... it's like finding treasure!

Hey Angela! I’m so happy I found you. It’s so good to know that you’re still active on this account. I was really worried that since this video was three years old you weren’t going to be posting but to my surprise I am so happy to know you are still reading Jon after all these years! I’m so happy to be here!
