Best way to make rice (my mom taught me because mine would always be too soft or hard) 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Put bay leaf or Italian seasoning, olive oil or chicken bouillon and put it on high. When it starts to boil then gradually turn it down. NEVER TAKE OFF THE LID. If it bubbles over just move it off the eye. Let it cook until all of the water is gone. The key is when the water is all gone, rake it with a fork from the outside to the middle. Then you’ll have perfect rice every time 💕😉

Get you a rice cooker & the rice comes out exactly as it’s supposed to if you follow the directions. You can also use the rice cooker for keeping your food warm as well (just in case you are thinking the rice cooker is just for rice ☺️). It’s a multi purpose type of equipment.

I used to couldn’t cook good rice to save my life. I bought a rice cooker and it has been a game changer. Pro tip though: make sure you thoroughly wash the starch off your rice before using the rice cooker for fluffy rice.

The magic to cooking rice is to let the water boil down and then rinse it until the water is clear put it back on the low burner for 3mins then remove from heat
