Close your eyes and drift into one of history's most chilling chains of consequences—how the Hanukkah heroes' single decision to force religious conversion created the tyrant who would attempt to unalive Jesus Christ.
In this 2-hour ASMR sleep story, discover the haunting connection between the Maccabees' conquest and Christianity's near-destruction. Listen as we whisper the tale of John Hyrcanus's forced conversion of the Idumeans (descendants of Esau), the biblical enmity between Jacob and Esau playing out across generations, the rise of Antipater and his son Herod "the Great"—a forced-convert descendant who became King of Judea, massacred the Hasmonean royal family, beautified the Temple while being despised by Jews, and ordered the unaliving of Bethlehem's infants to unalive the prophesied Messiah.
Through gentle narration and extended peaceful pauses, explore how one compromise with Jewish law—the Torah's own prohibition against forced conversion—cursed the nation for generations and nearly prevented Christianity from ever existing.
Perfect for history lovers, theology enthusiasts, ASMR fans, and anyone seeking profound historical connections designed to carry you into peaceful sleep.

Wasn’t the first forced conversion ever imposed ,from back in the days of Jacob, the brideprice paid by an entire city as restitution after his daughter Dinah had been violated by the son of a Canaanite king?
