@clutterandcouples
This information should be heard by ALL WOMEN going through a divorce. Preventative measures can save you SO much time and possible resources.
I just learned that one person can close a joint bank account from the phone without the other person's permission or presence! WTF?

That's so silly looking at a applicants credit report when they apply for a job unless it's an important role like within government systems etc than it should not apply to normal jobs.

It was early 1990's. Had 5 kids, divorced father and got only $84 a week. I had not worked prior to divorce, he wouldn't allow it.

Abuse can continue after the relationship ends. What about when there is abuse in a non married relationship?
The law is meant to protect. But when not married the abuse was ignored. Dismissed. Not once but three times.😢😢😢

Future faking. The abuser sets the dream, or shared fantasy. A secure retirement together.
Then the devaluation starts, the chipping away of your self esteem and confidence.
I lost my financial independence after moving to Spain.
I had no idea about abusive behaviours.
The entrapment.
The financial abuse.
The enforced "gratitude" for him being the financial provider.

MY EX SHOULD NEVER HAVE ANY ACCESS TO MY BANK ACCOUNTS,I NEVER GIVE PERMISSION TO ANYONE FOR THAT.NO WAY.AND If anyone has done that I'm pressing legal charges against them and I want them put in the jail.
