Had to edit this in for an obvious reason. Just to clear up any confusion. I’m not a female. I’m a man. I hope Naomi read this comment. When she was a part of that 4 person recording of fear is not my future. She sang words at the end of the song that weren’t actually part of the original song. She sang goodbye guilt goodbye fear and goodbye shame. When she sang goodbye shame it broke the chains of an unbearable burden of shame from being raped as a child in Sunday school. I was told I deserved it by the man that did it and I was told by the pastor the next week at 5 years old that I wasn’t good enough for god anymore. I carried that burden for 38 years until I heard her sing those words. It was when she sang those words that I felt it finally crack and begin to break inside. Thank you for singing that at the end.

Update. As of sept 5th 2025 the lord has delivered me from 25 years of drug and alcohol addiction, all
Forms of nicotine, 30 years of struggling with pornography and 38 years of shame guilt and suicidal depression.

    I’m a new person

I remember one of my pastors would say about ministry.."Either you are building God's kingdom or you are building your own kingdom"' Ministry is about His glory, not ours.

Naomi's dad's reaction to her pregnancy brought me to tears. A father's love is so deep. ❤🥲

I’m a pastors kid who got pregnant and I remember telling my boyfriend that this is the only sin people can see right when they look at you. But Naomi is so right, my daughter changed my life and brought me back to god and every time I share my testimony I remember how good gods been to me

Just a white 73-year-old grandma here who wants to say thank you. I spent 3 weeks in bed in 2021, my eyes could not stay open long enough to read the bible and I didn't have a church. I had my tv and utube on most of the time listening to Maverick. Sometimes I watched, so I knew they were mostly black, but the music ministered me into the presence of God and I actually wouldn't trade that period for anything. Songs like Promises helped me survive and grow closer to God through it all.

I like shows like this, because many Christians [me included] want to act as if we're perfect & have no issues. I like seeing honesty from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

this changed my view... Sin is a thing we shouldn't do because it creates a life that is more difficult to live in love.

My oldest son died from cardiovascular disease in 2024. Naomi's music ministered to me when I didn't have the energy to literally get out of my bed. I had my phone, her music, and a box of tissues next to me. God IS faithful.😢❤

Her voice in Jireh got me through such tough times. Gods truth sounding so beautiful is so grounding. “If He watches over every sparrow, how much more does He love you?”

Many of their songs really helped us survive Covid. They sang lyrics that fed our souls during that specific season. It was interesting that the music videos of the songs were a different experience than the live concerts.

We hosted her at our church in South Africa. Ran the event from a production side. She is spirit led and genuinely kind. Still amazed at how friend her and her team are. Band was amazing too

As a 34 year old woman who grew up in the church, who got pregnant my junior year of high school, this blessed me in ways I can’t quite put into words. This was so healing for a 17 year old wound that I didn’t realize wasn’t fully dealt with

When my mom got sick from COVID, Jireh was on repeat. I shared the song with her via text and kept encouraging her. She didn’t survive. I hurt a lot in my expectation for my mom to survive. She was strong, and an expression of joy through hard times (my biological father was abusive and my step father imprisoned for years, but she was the constant in my life). Her passing hurt me, but Jireh still remains a song I sing to and with my kids to celebrate God and to keep on believing God isn’t finished with us yet and the legacy of my mom’s sacrifice to provide for 3 kids.

I love you mom. Jesus, give her a hug from us. Father God, use me to be a vessel of the Holy Spirit and show people to Jesus.

I agree with Naomi, the devil was after Maverick. The impact was huge around the world, and he was not going to leave them alone. I just hope and pray that every ex-member of Maverick is doing fine and still standing strong in the Lord.

Having been to a maverick city concert with Kirk Franklin, Naomi’s maturity in Christ took us in to the Throne room every time she was on the 🎤!! Praise God, you could tell.

Wow when I told my Mom that I was pregnant, she refused to talk to me for weeks. Hats off to your Dad. That was God's grace through your Father.

Her fathers response was grace personified and I would’ve cried so bad receiving that gift and the analogy that lecrae made would’ve had me crying again 😂

Naomi’s Dad’s clothes response and Lecrae’s Adam & Eve Clothes reference is such a deep connection…and so cool.
Makes me appreciate God even more. 🙏🏾❤️
