Was Alexander The Great the most important man that ever lived in the history of mankind? It is said that he was born from Zeus himself, a demi-god in the flesh. He tamed an unbreakable wild stallion that full-grown men feared to approach at the age of 12, and that horse would carry him to military victory after military victor. His name says it all- Alexander The Great.
But how much about Alexander is really true, and what's fiction? And ultimately, with a whopping zero instagram followers, can we truly say he was all that great?

When I failed an exam, my dad told me: “at your age, Alexander already conquered half of persia, why aren’t you?”

You know, once you put "...is The Single Most Important Man In History" in a title, it'll look weird if you ever do it again.

Alexander's charisma was unmatched. Darius mother became loyal servant and adviser to him. When Alexander died, Darius mother was so grief stricken that she refused to eat until she died.

Long before social media was even a concept. People like this were known throughout the world before history was made.
That's real popularity right there

Alexander’s mother has an absolutely fascinating story as well. Dan Carlin did an incredible podcast about her life and her involvement in Alexander’s development. Highly recommended!

Although there can't be a definitive answer to this question but I just want you to remember one thing, Hannibal, Scipio, Caesar, Augustus, Trajan, Napoleon had only one thing in common, they all looked up to Alexander.

Insane how roughly 100 years later, Carthaginian general Hannibal and Roman general Scipio wanted to be like Alexander while battling each other for 17 years during the second punic war
