Why do so many modern Christians despise Constantine the Great, the man who ended Christian persecution and made Christianity a world-shaping force?
In this video, I break down the real reasons behind the hostility toward Constantine, why today’s churches misunderstand him, and what this reveals about modern Christianity’s decline.

We’ll cover:

► How Constantine actually changed Christianity
► Why modern Christians accuse him of “corrupting the church”
► The myth of the “pure early church”
► The Evangelical fear of power, impact, and responsibility
► Why rejecting Constantine leads to a weak, retreatist Christianity
► What real Christian strength looked like — and why we avoid it today

If you want a deeper, more historically grounded perspective on Christianity, power, and culture, this video is for you.

The hatred of Constantine, I believe, is one of the most revealing symptoms of the disease of Christian Retreatism, that plagues Modern Christianity. What are your thoughts? What are some other noticeable symptoms? Share them below!

I was so confused with the title until I remembered what a "modern" Christian was

I think the biggest lie that modern Christians believe is that “turn the other cheek” is a command against self defense

The point about their “mission trips” is absolutely true and frustrates me to no end.

They visit Latin America and the old British colonies in Africa to “evangelize” in more religious societies while their neighbors become more secular. It’s all so tiresome.

“To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamors are raised… is the part of a man either devoid of character or who doubts the truth of what he professes.” - Pope Leo XIII

Glory be to the one true God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. ✝✝

3:21 “And these so called ‘Christians’ don’t just abandon the fight- they abandon their children”
Most important takeaway from the video.
Whatever happens I pray that our generation and the future ones never behave this way.

I love St. Constantine. People need to realize that he had no vote on the Nicene Creed, and didn't even make Christianity the state religion.

Never could see how one justifies Constantine hatred. They need to open their hearts like Constantine did on the Milvian Bridge.

There is so much historical fantasy being paraded as historical fact, especially about good Emperor Constantine and the Early Church.
Thank you for making this video.

A Seventh Day Adventist pastor told me "Bishop of Rome" Constantine changed the sabbath to sunday worship. I couldn't stop laughing at the Bishop part. Not sure how they expect us to take them seriously.

I didn’t even know people hated on Constantine. That’s saddening.

Crazy how Turkey and Egypt used to be overwhelmingly Christian.

Even crazier is how long the Egyptian Coptic population has lived under Muslim rule, and there's still millions of them, talk about resilience in the faith.

I was raised a Jehovah's witness. One of the groups which deny all the creeds.
I'm truly blessed to have found the true faith, even in this extremely difficult time.

As a homeschooled Catholic raised on Christian history books, I used to be so inspired to try and make the world a better place... but my onw mother and father told me not only did I stand no chance but that I was wrong to even try, since that only makes "trouble."

What a wonderful video this was. As a Protestant from an Evangelical background, this retreatism, ahistorical illiteracy, and fundamentalism is what I hate hearing the most. Too many Christians are completely okay with the whole mentality of ‘retreat from the world’, ‘don’t read and apply church history’, ‘schism from Christians you disagree with’ etc. Completely ignoring the fact that most modern freedoms and advancements would not have taken place if the Christians of old (or of any time before the last 100-150 years) had this same cowardly mindset and refused to reform the world especially the West. it’s exhausting having to correct people all the time. I pray more wake up to realise that Christians have a duty to reform the world and not just wait to get off it 🙌

I am proud to live in an era where Christendom is getting serious again. The crusades were a 300 year response to a 1300 year problem.

"He did it to consolidate power"

My brother in Christ, there was nothing politically beneficial to siding with Christians, a minority undergoing persecution at that time.
