Michael W. Smith wrote this song (more than 30 years ago) in response to a touching letter from a girl who, at the end of her sad lament, wrote: "I just want to find my place in this world." The good Book says: "Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you."

It's wonderful that For King + Country brought this song back front and center for a new generation that needs it. And thanks to Michael W. Smith for writing such a vulnerable song decades ago.

Michael W Smith was the first Christian concert i ever went to. I'm Boise, Idaho, back in the early 90s. I've been a fan forever. Love this collaboration. Thank you and God bless from Idaho to whoever reads this.

I first heard this song at a funeral for a friend and fellow cancer patient when I was 12. I'm now 47. God is great. ❤🙏

My son recently moved to New Jersey to seek out his future and the life he wants to live. He’s my only child, I raised him alone and we’ve always been close. I heard this song on the way back from dropping him off at the airport. I love him dearly and when this song came on the radio, I had to pull over and I bawled my eyes out. I know he’ll be fine, he was raised with Christian values and he went to a Christian private school. He knows God and I pray he never strays from his faith. 🙏🏻 I literally cannot listen to this song without crying. I just miss him. ❤ I do love this collaboration, great voices and a great message.

The nostalgia that hit me when Michael W Smith sang. Whoa. Such a good song, and more meaning to it now that I'm older.

In the late 80s I was in Taipei and experiencing deep loneliness and no sense of purpose or meaning. I would roam the streets at night just calling out to God for help. This song was the cry of my heart. He has been faithful.

This sing brought through some tough times...this was a song that in my teenage years gave me strength and brought me peace in an uncertain world that I was living in.

I've prayed, praised and worshiped God with this song at least a thousand times during my life. On my knees and seeking, always asking, always believing and knowing that even if I couldn't understand what God was or is doing, I always knew that He did and that's enough. Much more than enough.
We were born, raised up and prepared by God our Father, for these days that we are living and seeing. We have been prepared for this battle that is raging all around us. Armed with the knowledge and the truth of God, washed clean in the blood of the lamb and filled with the Holy Spirit, with Fire and with Power for this battle. Lifting up, reaching out, laying on of Holy hands and the Power of the Holy Spirit that flows from us through them to our fellow man. The living water is not ours to keep, nor will it ever run dry. We are filled to pour it out and we are filled with more again. "What's been freely given, freely give."
Whatever gift you've been given for God's use and His purpose, walk in it as one body, the church, the Bride, the Love of Jesus Christ our Lord and the Messiah. Together, in our full Armor, nothing and no one is able to stand against us, for God is with us and Jesus is the head of this great Army He's raised up. Take up your swords, the Word of God, spoken in spirit and in truth.
Praise God with song and harp for there is power in worship and praise, it fills us up and brings us closer, into His presence as He delights to give us whatever we ask of Him, within His written word. And delights in our Praises unto Him. And remember always, He commanded us to love. ♾
