hiiiiii ggbbbbbb:)

this weeks episode hits close to home for both of us. we talk all things OCD.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is often portrayed in movies and media as a person who is a germaphobe or intensely organized. But in reality-- OCD is a mental disorder that can absolutely torment people and affect their ability to function in every day life.

we cover intrusive thoughts and how to no longer let them rule you. we back it with Scripture to show you how to genuinely take your thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ.

we love you all more than you know.
Jesus loves you more.
you are safe in your mind and body.
your mind belongs to Jesus.
-Ang & Ari

Dont listen to the demons. They get desperate for your attention and energy by those thoughts which lead to self destructive actions. Remember that your loved and perfect through the eyes of god. He sees your efforts and heart. Repent & forgive. Much love to you and those who go through spiritual warfare

OCD, same as Anxiety, is actually because you want to be "in control" all the time, and because you aren't getting it, you will start Overthinking it, This verse on the Bible helped me also, anytime I start overthinking of something, I remember this verse, then give it all up to God..

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
    - Matthew 11:28-30

OCD & anxiety = trauma. I love how Ari said she thanks God for breaking generational curses for her kids and she hasn’t had them yet. Epitome of faith

I literally remember being so consumed by thoughts of hurting people even though I had no anger or desire whatsoever to hurt anyone. It brought me so close to wanting to take my own life. But by the grace of God He has healed me🙌🏼 for anyone else out there struggling- THERE IS HOPE!!! 🤍

Stephanie said pray for a long time. Ang said the same thing. Jesus, suggested at least an hour for his disciples. This week I started praying longer. I felt the holy spirit more than I ever had in my entire life.

I just love that you guys talk about intrusive thoughts. NO one is talking about this. This battle for my mind is what brought me so close to Jesus though. I so wish I had this podcast when I was walking through the thick of it. I pray you’re vulnerability and awareness to the topic saves so many from going through the trauma that I had to

I was diagnosed with OCD from a young age and have always felt so misunderstood. It's something you can never truly explain because of the shame and disgust you feel with yourself, even though you know your OCD doesn't reflect who you really are. It feels impossible to even begin to explain it. Thank you for this episode, my OCD took me to the darkest places in my life where I felt I couldn't live with myself anymore, like I couldn't cope. This episode is life changing so I can't thank you both enough for this❤

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

thank you. you two have taught me that my deepest identity doesn’t come from my obsessive thoughts, but that it comes from the fact that I am a daughter of God. you guys have taught me the importance of not thinking about myself and serving others. thank you:)))

The Lord delivered me from a year long OCD thought loop. We had prayers at church and the Lord led me to a great old book called Brain Lock which has four steps that are useful. God bless all you sisters out there xx

So, I listened to their friend Stephanie. She said don’t call it “my anxiety, or my OCD.” If you say it’s “my anxiety,” you’re connecting the spirit to you.

My OCD and ADHD (hyperactive & impulsively type) are so exhausting. I’m just so grateful that I was able to come off antidepressants after being properly diagnosed a few years ago. I was also able to quit drinking & marijuana. I have anxiety just laying back doing nothing right now. 😟 SO annoying. I pray in Jesus’ name to break the chains of these thoughts & feelings.

I was terrified to go on medication for the anxiety/depression I had but through surrender to Jesus, through prayer, through practicing my faith GOD saved me, healed me from all that I felt in the name of Jesus you will be saved too 🙏🏽🥰. My favorite episode so so happy for you Ari!! Both testimonies are a blessing. AMEN 🙏🏽

Prayer request: Deliverance from severe OCD and autism. I’ve been suffering from these my whole life and it’s affected my ability to function properly in my daily life and socialize. Please pray that Jesus delivers me and heals my mind
