This is the animated story of Samson and Delilah from the Book of Judges (Judges 16). Samson, the Nazirite judge of Israel, tore a lion apart with his bare hands, defeated a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, and carried the gates of Gaza up a mountain. No army could stop him. So the five lords of the Philistines sent silver instead, 1,100 pieces each, into the hands of a woman from the Valley of Sorek. Her name was Delilah.

In this video you'll discover:
• Who Delilah really was — and what the Bible never tells us about her
• The three times Samson lied about his strength, and why he stayed anyway
• The true meaning of Samson's Nazirite vow and his uncut hair
• The saddest verse in Scripture: "He did not know that the LORD had departed from him" (Judges 16:20)
• What this story teaches about trust, betrayal, and emotional manipulation today

Long before the Philistines gouged out Samson’s eyes, he was already spiritually blind. The Book of Judges repeatedly notes that during this era, "everyone did what was right in his own eyes". Samson chose his relationships based entirely on physical attraction rather than spiritual alignment, ignoring his sacred Nazirite vows.

Physically, Samson was the strongest man upon the earth; but in self-control, integrity, and firmness, he was one of the weakest of men. Many mistake strong passions for a strong character, but the truth is that he who is mastered by his passions is a weak man. The real greatness of the man is measured by the power of the feelings that he controls, not by those that control him.

Samson's life is a very sad story but provides a fundamental truth: You can be anointed by God for a special purpose for your life and given incredible and unique gifts to fulfill your destiny but still miss your life'purpose. Because your decision to compromise in whatsoever respect can disconnect you from that God-given purpose for your life. As man was made in God's image, God respects even those decisions we make that could lead us into a catastrophe. HOWEVER: God warned Samson several times by unveiling to him the true intention of Delilah who betrayed Samson several times before. Unfortunately, Samson kept clinging to her despite God's clear warnings.

Samson’s story is a powerful reminder that extraordinary strength can still be undone by poor choices and misplaced trust. His relationship with Delilah makes the lesson about temptation, weakness, and consequences even more striking. 🙏”

If I’m not mistaken the bible did say that Delilah died in the temple that Samson destroyed when he asked God to strengthen him 1 last time so he can take revenge on the philistines for his 2 eyes. The bible says everyone in the temple died including Delilah.

These move me, Samson was so powerful, that his own power ate him up and he didn’t notice 😭❤

The story of what happens when a person trades their alliance with God for money and material goods, and begins to build their own life, forgetting their Creator and the Creator of the entire Universe.

This, like Solomon; Samson should have prayed about the type of Wowen they choose to invest their desire.
This is a very important lesson for us today, to learn from in being Men and Women of God, Pray, wait and ask for signs and if anyone does not fulfill the signs leave, don't play.

and this is still happening in today's age. Kings, my brothers, let us be wise. They say that the greatest wisdom is learning from other people's mistakes. The fallen had created and set the blueprints for us. Let's us honor them, through the blessings, the aid, the guidance, and wisdom of and through our father.

Don't forget that Delilah and Samson were lovers, so she must have been exceptionally good if he was willing to stay. Pure foolishness
