In the frozen reaches of the Arctic Circle, a Soviet "utopia" stands perfectly preserved in the permafrost. Pyramiden was once a premier coal-mining town, a showcase of communist success featuring high-end culture and sport—but today, it is a haunting ghost town overseen only by a bust of Lenin and a few polar bears.
In this full episode of Abandoned Engineering, we unmask the secrets of this polar outpost alongside the tragic ruins of the Sutro Baths in San Francisco, the psychologically brutal "separate prison" of Port Arthur in Tasmania, and the overgrown concrete foundations of the Deutsche Stadion—a Nazi megaproject designed to hold 400,000 people that was never completed. These decaying structures offer a window into the boldest engineering ambitions of the past and the mysterious reasons they were left behind.
Each week, Forbidden Mysteries uncovers the hidden truths, dark secrets, and extraordinary stories that history tried to forget. From royal scandals and unsolved murders to secret societies, ancient relics, and mysterious ruins, every episode takes you deeper into the shadows of the past.
Journey through lost worlds with Abandoned Americana, or uncover shocking secrets in Forbidden History. In the end, the greatest mystery is always what history chose to hide.

Should turn Pyramidyn into a prison compound. Wouldn't take much to bring it up to speed & then just put a fence around it. Isolated so that they can't go anywhere....
