In this video I am checking out the Special Edition Randy Rhoads Distortion+ from MXR. This is the second iteration of this pedal, the first being in his signature polka dot finish, this one being in the white and gold of his famous Rhoads V guitar.

This pedal was designed in collaboration with the Rhoads family who allowed MXR access to Randy's original Distortion+ that was on his pedalboard. The MXR team have replicated that pedal to the exact spec of the original to capture the magic of Randy's tone.

In the video I am using the Vola Guitars OZ ROA and I am using the Distortion+ into two different amps, the Blackstar TV-10A for clean and the Blackstar TV-10B for overdrive. The amps are running via the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X.
