Counting Crows is my everything. Their music soothes and exorcises all emotional and mental pain from my body; sorry, but their music is more effective than attending church service or reading the bible; not that I hate God, because I don't. I'd give up the Crows if I had to choose.
I've been a fan of Counting Crows since the release of August & Everything After. I remember buying the album on cassette with my father (who passed away 4 years ago--love you Dad) when I was 11 at a now defunct music store--Planet Music. Today they are building "luxurious condos" in the empty lot. Anyway, I first saw them in 2001 at night on the beach. From then on I've seen them 8 times, met the band once, and Adam 2's.
Since my life has been difficult--many losses, failed relationships with women, CC's music makes me smile and gives me hope for the future at 35. These guys are a gift to us all!!
