My 12 year old nephew passed away on Saturday afternoon after a 2 year battle with cancer. This was one of his favourite songs and he asked his daddy to play it for him and an hour later he closed his eyes and passed peacefully. He was a believer so his blessings will come in the new city in Heaven 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤

[Intro]
And by Your power, I know You made a way
And by Your power, I know You made a way
And by Your power, I know You made a way
[Verse 1: Lecrae]
Yeah, yeah
I need it (I need it)
I need it from moment to moment (I do)
I need it to get where I'm going (I do)
I need it to fight the opponent (Yeah)
The power that move every mountain (Power)
Protect me when evil surround me (Yeah)
I know it's a power living in me, people don't see it, but it's all around me (Woo)
Yeah
They told me it's over, I'm finished
But God said, "Just wait and bear witness"
He split the red tides, made the dead rise, just let Him handle His business (Yeah)
They told me, "Confess and believe" (Believe)
I got so much dirt on my knees (My knees)
'Cause I've been talking to the Lord all day telling Him all of my needs (Praying)
I need mercy, need grace
Need strength, I need faith
Need power 'cause the world's dark having trouble seeing Your face (Your face)
All of my life I had to fight, I done got tired of fighting
You gave me life, You gave me light, I got the power to triumph

You're all I need in my darkest hour (Ooh)
I love You and none of me
I never have to worry 'cause
[Chorus: Tasha Cobbs Leonard]
It's by Your power, I know You make a way
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
It's by Your power, I know You make a way, oh, yeah, oh
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
Came to my rescue and You always save the day
So many times that You've been faithful
It's by Your power, I know You make a way, oh, yeah, oh
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
[Verse 2: Lecrae]
Yeah, woke up traumatized, opened up my eyes, couldn't see the sun shining (Nah)
Momma could've died, cousin still on trial, life is such a fine line (Lord)
I had to deal with the pressure (Pressure)
I had to fight through depression (Depression)
I told my sister, "Don't give up" (Don't quit)
God known for changing the weather
Sometimes you destined to rain (Woo)
Sometimes you pray through the pain (Yeah)
But whether it's a clear or a cloudy day I'ma keep trusting His Name (Jesus)
Made me a believer (Hey)
Taught me the presence and power of Jesus (Jesus)
Made a way where it wasn't (Yeah)
Gave me strength to recover (Recover, recover)
[Pre-Chorus: Tasha Cobbs Leonard]
You're all I need in my darkest hour (Ooh)
I love You and none of me
I never have to worry 'cause
[Chorus: Tasha Cobbs Leonard]
It's by Your power, I know You make a way
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
It's by Your power, I know You make a way, oh, yeah, oh
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
Came to my rescue and You always save the day
So many times that You've been faithful
It's by Your power, I know You make a way
Make a way, know He gon' make a way
[Bridge]
Came to my rescue and You always save the day
Came to my rescue and You always save the day
You always save the day, oh
You always come through, oh
You always save the day
Came to my rescue and You always save the day
Every time (Praise Your Name)
You are my Hero
You are my Hero
Came to my rescue
You are my Hero
So many times You've been faithful
And I thank You, Lord
So many times that You've been faithful
It's by Your power, I know You make a way

God bless you Lecrae and Tasha. God has used Lecrae to deliver songs that resonate with my season at the moment. This song has just dropped at a right moment that I'm just holding on trusting God through everything and I know by His Power our past is gone and we have been made new.
