To the young person who has depression. I want you to open up your mouth and begin to talk to Jesus and tell him what ever is on your mind. Get you a plain english bible and read it every day. When talk to Jesus he talks back. I will be praying for you.

I'm a Christian and a therapist. This song captures the divide, the distance that so many souls feel because of the lack of unconditional love and grace and mercy from their own family of origin. Sadly, God wears their parents' masks. He is not like them. He is altogether loving, a see-er and responder and comforter of their hearts. But we can't feel this so easily when there has been trauma. And we can't risk reaching for it. May all who listen to this song be freed up from their loneliness, despair, self-contempt; may they reach for the Living God who wants to be present, who wants them to know that Jesus made a way for them; that His righteousness covers them. Whenever you fall, fall forward into His lovingkindness. And then praise Him for his kindness to you, for that gives Him glory. Calvin and Mitch, God bless you and keep you writing and singing these songs.

This song got me through a hard season in my life..my daughter was in hospital on ventilator, and i listened to this song on repeat. As the tears flowed , i felt the presence of the Lord .

I'm listening to this 4hrs after we made the decision to take our beloved 91yr old mother off life support. She's still here and stable, yet very sick. I turned her over to God letting Him know He is in control. She loves Him as do I. My Pastor sent this to me. God bless you in your ministry Calvin. This brought the presence of The Lord into my home and such Peace.

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where YouTube started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

I was depressed for months, and no one noticed. I had suicidal thoughts. I had lost all hope, and my life felt worthless. I cried to God while kneeling down, and asked him while he abandoned me. I felt and overwhelming power of Love in that moment, can't describe the feeling. It's out of this world.
I felt lighter, all the sadness disappeared.
Jesus still lives. I was saved through his grace.

I'm a 15 year old boy going through depression 🥺. I always listen too gospel song to put myself together. I recently lost my grandmother this year and every time when I listen to this song makes me cry. I just wanna be in god arms right now but I want to finish my school first. I feel hopeless right now 😔. Pray for me please 😭

Jesus healed me from breast cancer. I give Him all the praise, honor and glory. Trust Jehovah Rappha, He still heals this very day.

I just texted my friend that sent me this video and asked her why did she sent me this to me. The melody just ripped through my soul and the words broke me down to that of an infant. I couldn't stop crying and worshipping. It took me to a place of humbleness, gratefulness, and worship. To God be all.of the glory for using you and trusting you with this mighty, mighty gift to share with the world.

Sitting here just crying in my prayer closet. Asking God to please give me strength… I’m going through so much in life and right now I don’t see a way out.. but I know God is telling me to trust in him. I trust you God.. I’m just hurting. I’m trying to follow you and your commands to the best of my abilities. I’m fighting through every obstacle and battle and you have never failed me. I heard my 3 year old son singing this song one day when I was going through a rough time, spiritually, physically, and mentally. He ministered to me with his gentle spirit by the Spirit of God with this song and I can't stop listening to it. Sir Calvin Nowell, God bless you 🙏🏾
