I married my husband in 2018, i was 18 he was 20 both virgins. We both became dedicated Christians without baptism since our parents believed in child baptism. Now we have one of the best marriages and love our daughter so much. We talk about Jesus Christ everyday even if it's just in prayer. When one falls, the other is there and we are teaching our daughter to wait for prayer before we get eating despite her being 1year old and now she waits for us to sit and pray before she starts crying for food. If i knew that being a virgin was not shameful to the extend i know it now, i would have told anyone about it and inspired some more people. May the lord help everyone looking for a marriage to have one like mine in Jesus' name
AMEN

Summary for quick reference:
1. Physical Attraction[1 Cor 7:3-5]
2. Emotional Connection/Maturity[Prov 18: 24]
3. Spiritual Maturity [Heb 5: 12-14]
4. Common Values[Eph 2: 10]
5. Grounded Chararcter[1 Tim 5:8]
No perfect relationship, every one cane grow and become better. However, make sure your core values align, and that you do not marry what they could become, but who they currently reveal themselves as. ✌️

Dont be unequally yoked... I married before I was following Jesus and trying to navigate being tied to someone who hates my desire to seek God...is...so...difficult. Lord help those unmarried to be patient and wait on your plan while seeking your face! Also please help those of us married to unbelievers to suffer for Christ in a quiet way that represents Him correctly so that our spouses too may be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Your perfect time Father!

I wish I would have seen this years ago. My 23 yr old husband who claimed to be a mature Christian left my daughter & I 2 days before Christmas... the heartbreak has been UNREAL. I saw him for his potential and thought I was a strong enough Christian to lead him to Christ. Since leaving he's pursued a life of partying, drugs, gaming, & another woman who is a pedophile... after months of being blocked I reached out trying to make it work and failed- this vid was the answer to many many prayers if letting him go is the right thing to do. Please pray for Grant that he will turn back to God. As of me, I'm happily married to God and find joy & satisfaction in serving Him & His amazing promises.

Here's the biggest point - GOD HAS YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE! If you ever get discouraged, just remember God has your perfect match for you. Every time you think about marriage, pray for your future husband/wife! I do this. I haven't met him yet, but I know God will bring us together at the perfect time. So in the meantime, I will better myself, walk in my walk, and our paths will merge somewhere down the line. I hope and pray that he does the same.

I honestly believe God brought my wife to me at my job and she saved me from going down the path I was going, which was very bad. We got married after a year of dating and becoming very best friends. God works in mysterious ways, I Love Jesus.🙏🏻💚

I think the first one would be make sure they are a mature Christian. There’s this girl at my work who recently started wanting to have a relationship with God the Father and she liked me and I also liked her but I was blinded by feelings. She kept saying she doesn’t want to come to church and stuff like that until she reads the whole Bible. She even ghosted me a few times because she didn’t want to respond to the questions. I think she started loosing interest (probably in me) because I came off as “clingy”. I have the spiritual gift of exhortation and she was the first Christian woman I’ve been discipling except I shouldn’t have been going that (I’ll explain why if anyone wants to know). Anyway, I realized there are places she needs to grow spiritually and mentally.
My lesson from this is to guard your heart (proverbs 4:23) and to act on character rather than feeling, and to take a persons maturity before anything else (I’m personally not attracted to anyone if they are not a growing Christian)

what no one knows about marriage before going into it is how incredibly hard it is. it is very, very hard. don’t use marriage as a solution to find happiness

I'm not at the age to want to marry but these 5 tips will help me down the road! I have liked different girls who were mostly Christians but they each taught me a lesson that will help me down the road in the future of what to look for in a marriage. Even though the friendships didn't work out but I look at it as growth on my well-being. "Commit your actions to the lord and your plans will succeed"- Proverbs 16:3
I am trying to commit my actions to God now because I haven't been dependent on him although its been in my prayers for a female to come into my life (unless if they're there now) to marry someday who follows God and for who they are!

The flaw of these core essentials is that the dating culture that these essentials are based on, generate the largest percentage of divorce in human history. People in other cultures, even today, get married before they meet each other based on the arrangement of their parents. And they still hold on to their marriages for a life time? Why, exactly because of the mindset described in this video, if someone else that is a better fitting according to these essentials, you may want to leave for that person. That is such a consumerism based argument. The whole point of marriage is, even God randomly appointed someone to you to get married, He will provide you with enough Grace to hold on to that marriage for your whole life. Thinking otherwise is simply ignoring the value of the covenant relationship between an husband and a wife. You always marry the wrong person, then it takes decades to make that person the right person.

Can I ask you guys a question? God loves us despite our flaws and sins (unconditionally) and He always desires to transform us into His image, even though we seems hopeless. So why aren’t we able to love someone despite their flaws and help them change for the better? If you pray and ask God to rule over your life and feelings, and He still allows you to be with someone others call ‘the bad guy,’ shouldn’t you try to help transform that person instead of setting a human standard? Be like Hosea, who loved his unfaithful wife because God commanded him to do so. As it says in Hosea 3:1: ‘Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites…’ Hosea obeyed, brought her back, and continued to live with her in a godly home. So what about this?

Thank you for this. I’m in my early 30s and still waiting for someone who meets all of these. It is frustrating at times but I’m thankful to be growing during this time. 🙏
