As a trans woman, I don't think about trans women nearly as often as JK Rowling does

JK Rowling literally using the "she shouldn't have dressed that way" defence should be more than enough proof that she is not a feminist in any way

She’s literally pro genital checks. JK Rowling is using her trauma to excuse giving others SA trauma. This is abuser behaviour.

She could have spent this money on fighting domestic violence or on food for children from poor families...

Damn, the "feminist" is actually literally going "she asked for the assault because she was wearing revealing clothes"?! Hopefully it's obvious to everyone after this what kind of person Joanne is.

As a white cis woman, I'm so freaking tired of being used as an excuse for prejudice, oppression, and awfulness. You know who scares me the most? It isn't trans people, it isn't black people, it isn't immigrants. It is straight, white, conservative men who hold all the power and think a slight loss in their power means they are being persecuted.

The Germans call this "hobbyless behavior" and I think that's perfect. Rowling needs a hobby.

If you say youre a feminist without supporting trans women, you’re not a feminist. Feminists support all women and equal rights

Always remember to boycot ALL her works. She also publishes under the name Robert Galbraith.
PS: Robert Galbraith Heath was an American pychiatrists involded in torturous conversion experiments, so this nom de plume seems very deliberate.

JK Rowling defending the one trans person she actually likes is such a fascinating example of the cognitive dissonance in bigotry. It's very "All immigrants are lazy bums, except Juan who mows my lawn."

At this point it feels like she's more known for her transphobia than for being the author of Harry Potter. It wouldn't surprise me if in another 10-20 years that becomes the norm.

I was just explaining this at the movie theater to someone who didn’t know. They were heartbroken.

"I will keep making videos as long as she is doing harm." Not as often though, because oh my god, nobody has enough time for that!

Even though she doesn't believe trans women are women, why does she think it's okay to upskirt "a man?" No one deserves to be treated this way. I guess you just don't think we are human, Joanne.

In 1977 I was 16 and knew I was gay for years. Anita Bryant and people like her convinced me that no matter how good a person I was, my family and community would never accept me. I guess she'd probably be happy that her campaign against gays pushed me so far back in the closet that I didn't come out for another 15 years. People like her (and JK Rowling) cause so much pain and loneliness for no discernible reason.

Saying the way a woman dressed is justification to be gross to her literally is Anti-Feminist!
WTF JK?

The new HBO series should end in the first season when Hermione dies because Harry and Ron aren't allowed to enter the girls' bathroom to rescue her from the troll, and without her around to make up for Harry's utter lack of willingness to exert himself intellectually, he can't stop Quirell.

Not surprised she's gone after someone's clothes or weight as if they're perfect descriptors of one's character. She keeps doing it in her books.
