Paid in Full | Where Justice Meets Mercy
“It is finished.” — John 19:30
At the heart of the Christian gospel is a profound truth: God did not overlook sin or set aside His justice. At the cross, justice was satisfied through Jesus Christ, opening the way for mercy, forgiveness and grace.
"Paid in Full" explores this truth through the image of a debt we could never repay.
The song follows the journey from the weight of sin and judgment to Christ's sacrifice, His resurrection, and the freedom found in His finished work.
Mercy does not mean that sin was without consequence. Christ willingly bore what we could not bear. And grace goes further still — giving us a righteousness we could never earn.
“My debt is paid in full by Christ.
No charge stands in my name.”
The empty tomb declares His victory over sin and death. What began at the cross is revealed in the triumph of the resurrection.
"Paid in Full" is a song of gratitude for a salvation that is neither earned nor deserved, but received through faith in Jesus Christ.
The cross is where justice meets mercy, and where grace begins.
Scripture inspiration: Isaiah 53:5–6 | Romans 3:25–26 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 | Galatians 3:13 | John 19:30
