She was getting filled with the Holy Spirit, and now she’s in Heaven. I feel like I’m in a dream, and this isn’t real.

An angel came to us, stayed for a while, and then left again

We lost the voice of a truly wonderful lady yesterday. Her music will live forever. Rest in peace Dolly, we'll always love you ❤.

As I listened to this song, I had a little mini revelation. When I heard the line that went "Mary did you know when you kissed your baby boy that you kissed the face of God." And I thought, how beautiful, our pure & holy God, who even the angels around the throne cover their faces because of His holiness, through Christ got to experience for the first time, the feel of a mother's love for her child & the kiss of that mother on His cheek. What a precious moment for Him to experience. I love that, isn't it gorgeous. I never thought of it before in this way, but God got to experience so many things that human beings, His children, go through because of Christ. Good & bad, but how precious that His first touch was of a mother holding her newborn son and kissing His face. It brings tears to my eyes.

Wow. When she starts stomping her feet and waving her arms at the end, she's straight up singing praises to Glory. She's singing her heart out! The audience ain't even there anymore in her mind. She just left the planet and went straight up to the stars to sing to Jesus, and she took us all with her. That was no performance. That was real time praise singing right there. If ever I saw eyes full of Christ's light within, it was hers during this song.

Few singers are worthy of this song: Dolly is one of them.

Dolly Parton tells a story when she sings. Its poetry in motion.

One of my favourite Christmas songs. It may not be Jesus exact birthday on December 25th. However, the Church chose this day to remember Him and make this season His. No one can change. But we must use this season to serve Jesus' glory!

She always had a heavenly voice with her Christmas music and this only proved it. She's in Heaven. The world lost a beautiful lady with such a wonderful voice. Her music will live forever. Rest in Peace, Dolly

It's amazing that Dolly's voice has changed very little over the years. She's one of the few performers who truly has universal appeal. There may be people who say they don't care for country music.....but I don't know anyone who can say they don't love Dolly Parton.
