I was in the middle of my teacher training when I heard this song. Some people told me I could never be a teacher. It was a very dark time for me but I kept singing “even what the enemy meant for evil you turn it for my good”. I’m a fully qualified teacher now. I love my job in a school I love and my students are blessed because God is always faithful and sees us through when we go on a difficult journey to the high places. Rain will pour, fear will come, the enemy will lie but God is faithful and he will do just what he says he will.

It was around 4AM May 2015 the first time i heard this song. Was busy preparing for my final year Biochemistry Mid-year exam at 11AM that day. Just after i decided to defer my exam because i had no faith and felt totally empty. Went straight to Youtube and typed ''Uplifting christian songs''..it came first on my list. After listening to it twice ....i was motivated to write my exam. The ''Even what the enemy means for evil, you turn it for our good and for Your Glory'' verse blessed me a lot.I got a distinction for my exam. This is my all-time favourite worship. :) :) Much <3 from South Africa.

I built the church where he was the minister of music, in Franklin TN, and met him several times, he’s just as nice, sincere and Godly as he appears, what a joy to meet an authentic believer.

My current employer is closing the company in phases, I might be out of work in a few 2 months. I listen to these words (Genesis 50:20) and I am at peace. I will forever give God the glory as long as I am alive.

There is strength within the sorrow
There is beauty in our tears
And You meet us in our mourning
With a love that casts out fear
You are working in our waiting
You're sanctifying us
When beyond our understanding
You're teaching us to trust
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
You are wisdom unimagined
Who could understand Your ways
Reigning high above the Heavens
Reaching down in endless grace
You're the lifter of the lowly
Compassionate and kind
You surround and You uphold me
And Your promises are my delight
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
Even what the enemy means for evil
You turn it for our good
You turn it for our good and for Your glory
Even in the valley, You are faithful
You're working for our good
You're working for our good and for Your glory
Even what the enemy means for evil
You turn it for our good
You turn it for our good and for Your glory
Even in the valley, You are faithful
You're working for our good
You're working for our good and for Your glory
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us

Our 43 year old son passed away yesterday after fighting ferociously his two year battle against the most heinous disease of ALS. Truly a demonic disease as it comes first to steal the patient’s health by destroying all his neurons controlling all muscles of the body until patient is totally paralyzed and can no longer breath. 😔
THIS MORNING during our church service unbeknownst to us it was song during the worship! The lyrics resonated so deeply and edifies us for our week ahead! TY to Michael W Smith for composing such an edifying and restorative song with powerful lyrics that linger long after hearing! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🥰🤗💪🏻💪🏻
