It has been awhile since I last narrated a fairytale, and this one is among my absolute favourites (who'd have guessed!). There are variations on this tale by different authors (including Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Wild Swans') but I went with the Brothers Grimm version as it's the one I'm most familiar with.
It was also re-imagined in the Jim Henson series 'The Storyteller' under the name 'The Tale of the Three Ravens', and that series was a HUGE influence on me and one of the biggest drives for me to become a narrator. I really hope you enjoy this tale, and let me know if you'd like me to narrate more fairytales in the future!

I’m still fairly new to the narration community, so requests and general feedback would be greatly appreciated! I’m always looking to improve my work!

Moral of the story: the ability to write would be very useful.

Props to the girl for holding her tongue while giving birth. Strongest heroine in a fairytale.

This short version of the story is ok. The book "the daughter of sevenwaters" is of course more detailed and I wish the full length version of that would be on here.

that's a beautiful story! I'm surprised Disney hasn't taken it yet but it is a little Gory for kids

I'm listening to this and your Edgar Allen Poe narrations in a nice evening snow. I am very cold but I feel extremely cool. Great work as always.

Thank you! one of my favourites too. I like your reading very much. Natural, not sensational, pure. It is very close to the way I hear it, when I have read it, so I sort of slip into it without a boundary. Faithful. Lovely nuances in your voice, and your love for the story flows in your breath, and the words. [ Maybe you are a Waldorf kindergarten teacher? :-) or a beautiful mother?]
