My thing is pretty much if I don't like them I just treat them like one of the bros.

From a girl's perspective: VERY ACCURATE.

I think the thumbnail picture holding up the paper that says "Don't" is probably the best advice.

I made the mistake of ignoring ALL of these rules and there were no times where it ended well...

This is very deep. Cause sometimes Churches Teaches us how to Steward Marriages first instead of teaching us how to manage being Brothers and sisters in Christ first. 🙏🏽

My best friend is a woman. I’ve known her for 7 years, and we’ve always seen each other as just friends. We hang out one on one more often than not, had deep conversations before, and text almost every day. I don’t think there’s any problems with it though, but the other don’ts make perfect sense.

I became friends with a female classmate last year's Valentines Day when we first met when just talking to each other in the halls. Because of our majors, class schedules, and extracurriculars that semester, we crossed paths often. We did a thing together over the summer which made me more attached. I dont recall saying anything explicitly weird, but i knew i was being pushy and forward with her over text and in-person this past semester, and we slowly stopped talking to each other completely. I felt a guilty conscience and chose to apologize to her 2 weeks ago and clarify that i value our friendship deeply. She appreciated it, and i actually felt really good about it. My loneliness got the better of me, but i was fortunate enough to apologize when i did and finally get mutual understanding for once.

I needed this video like 2 months ago cuz I failed literally every single step on this list and now I’m heart broken. I can’t even be mad or upset cuz I did it to myself

Just so you all are aware, it still possible to have a really fruitful, healthy friendship AND follow all these rules. I am a married woman, in a friend group with another married couple, my best friend and her husband, and me and my husband. (My husband and her husband are also best friends) I ALSO consiter her husband one of my best friends, and even got to play a huge role in discipling him and bringing him to christ. He's lots of fun, I enjoy his company, but there's a maturity between us that respects boundaries, and I never even thought about it till this video, but we adhere to those things in the list and it DOES keep the friendship healthy, and even strong. My best friend is close to my husband as well, within those same boundaries and it is a really awesome thing to see a sister in Christ for my husband. There ARE things that in a group setting, they can say for each other from their own experiences and understanding of scripture that are edifying, encouraging, and yes sometimes even convicting. It's entirely possible to be friends with the other sex in some circumstances, but those boundaries HAVE to be respected, I'd even add; make a point to be friends with them WITH your partner if you have one.

We are still siblings in Christ. We are called to love each other and help each other carry one anothers burdens. If I'm not even allowed to talk about my burdens with a female, how is that supposed to work?
Setting boundaries and communicating openly is fine, but other than that, just treat her like a normal human being and you will be fine.

I no longer do female friendships; there’s always one person that catches feelings. I can only really hang out with females while in a group with other guys, it keeps things platonic 👍🏻

I almost lost a friend, and got accused of pedophelia making some of these mistakes, and I recovered but the relationship will never be the same, and it’s quite irreparable. Don’t take this vid lightly, bro is speaking so much facts!!

I've been caught out a few times with close female friends. All of these points and questions are very wise, especially with boundaries and being clear about the friendship.

Another point: sometimes it's not the female who gets the feelings.

FINALLY someone is talking about something that so many teenaged boys need. I’ve watched so many videos on topics like this but it was all in the whole girl friend deal🥴 all about how to kiss her and stuff like that😩. This video was so helpful for me and for many boys in high school. Thank you so much.

He makes some good points. I would say there are some exceptions though. My guy friend and I hang out one-on-one and have deep conversations. He has autism so groups can be stressful too, and deep conversations are just a part of close friendships. We were sort of friends at which point he liked me but as we became closer friends we just sort of slipped into that friendship naturally.

This isn't just good advice for single people. This is really great advice for married people too.
It is actually a lot easier to fall into an affair than you think. You have to be careful. And if you're struggling to talk to your spouse and would rather talk to a friend, maybe consider some marriage therapy.

This happened to me a few weeks ago with a guy I knew from church. It was only three weeks of this weird dynamic before I cut him off. We need to do better as young people. No one’s heart needs to be messed with.

Great advise. Definitely needed this. Could you make a video on how to pursue a girl? Cuz there is this girl I really like but I don’t know how to pursue her in a Christian way
